Is this a real estate depression? Are we at the bottom? How much inventory is really out there? Is there more distressed inventory about to be dumped on the market? Is Boston insulated? Are mortgage rates going to stay low?
Wow! I thought the gold and silver traders were the only ones getting conflicting, and generally bad information these days The positive news is that most of my clients in the greater Boston area are pretty busy right now. There’s a great deal of activity…and sales!
I came across this piece on a blog I read religiously called Zero-Hedge. I thought that the author did a good job of summarizing the state of the national real estate industry. Personally, I think that we’re not near the bottom, and that things will get worse. The upside is that there are real estate pros who will prosper, even thrive, in these tough times. These are the sales executives who plan, execute, innovate, and re-create themselves to adapt to the current conditions…not those who operate based on “the way things used to be”!
